I found the Turkish Airlines Atlanta Office and figured I would try it. What a contrast. Their staff was quick to assist, and more significantly, they had more flexible rebooking software available to them than the call center. I needed to delay my return flight by four days and also change the destination airport from JFK to Washington D.C. They accomplished it all within an hour and explained the fare difference clearly. What I especially appreciated was the agent's awareness of my situation. I was traveling with a medical device and needed additional documentation cleared for cabin storage. The staff helped me complete the proper medical forms and followed up via email that same day. Such personal service is hard to come by. The only downside was that the waiting area was small, and there were quite a few customers ahead of me. It was a good 20 minutes before I was seen. But once at the counter, the experience was top-notch.
